Mansfield Independent School District is a premiere school district located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The district encompasses more than 94 square miles serving students in the city of Mansfield and sections of Arlington, Grand Prairie, Burleson, Fort Worth, Venus, Alvarado and Kennedale.
MISD is proud of thier diverse and multicultural population. There are more than 100 languages other than English spoken in the district. Even though MISD is a large school district, it still maintains its hometown feel with different events to bring the community together.
The mission of Annette Perry Elementary is to work with families to ensure each student demonstrates mastery of grade-level content as designated by local and state standards. This high-achieving elementary school has more than 400 students with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1.
Alma Martinez Intermediate School is a diverse community committed to empowering learners through student centered experiences that promote learner ownership of education through strong engagement, critical thinking and life experiences. Our vision is to empower students to soar through life’s journey and persevere on the sometimes turbulent path to success.
Charlene McKinzey Middle School is unique in that it is both a neighborhood middle school and a choice school. McKinzey is also a STEM Academy for students who are on or above grade level, enjoy collaboration and sharing ideas, have an interest in solving real world problems, and have an interest in STEM subjects. The mission is to inspire and educate students to be productive citizens.
Mansfield ISD’s fourth high school, Legacy High Schools aims to create a student-centered learning environment that produces responsible, productive citizens. The school provides a wealth of extracurricular programs, serving 2,100 students with a 17 to 1 teacher ratio.
